Aircel Gprs Settings for in Micromax Q5 mobile

I just got the gprs Settings for micromax mobiles from my friend. So I thought it would be useful if I post it here. Because I heard lot of users are searching for this settings.


Steps to follow.

Before this make sure that the gprs service is activated in your number. Call customer care to make sure. You should have a minimum of 1 rupee to go online.

1. Go to Settings - Connectivity - Data Account- GPRS

2. Select any account and Press Options, Add an account.

3. Account Name : aircelgprs

4. APN : aircelgprs.pr (prepaid), aircelgprs.po (Postpaid).

5. Auth Type : Normal

6. Now do not add any other information. Just press Done. and Save the settings. (No username - No passowrd - No Primary DNS or Secondary)

7. Now exit back to the Main Menu and now go to Services.

8. Services - WAP - Settings - Select Sim (Select your sim number)

9. Services - WAP - Settings - Profiles - SIM 1 (if your sim1 is the aircel) Delete an unwanted profile.

10. Options - Add -

11. Profile Name : aircelgprs

12. Home page: http://www.google.com

13. Data account - aircelgprs (you have to select the data account which we created earlier)

14. Connection Type: HTTP ( Use Proxy - No)

15. No Username and Password

16. Done. Save it.


Completed. This will help you in accessing net through gprs in your Micromax Q5 mobile. If you still have issues please restart your mobile once.
