Aircel Gprs Settings for in Micromax Q5 mobile

Hi All,

I just got the gprs Settings for micromax mobiles from my friend. So I thought it would be useful if I post it here. Because I heard lot of users are searching for this settings.

Steps to follow.

Before this make sure that the gprs service is activated in your number. Call customer care to make sure. You should have a minimum of 1 rupee to go online.

1. Go to Settings - Connectivity - Data Account- GPRS

2. Select any account and Press Options, Add an account.

3. Account Name : aircelgprs

4. APN : aircelgprs.pr (prepaid), aircelgprs.po (Postpaid).

5. Auth Type : Normal

6. Now do not add any other information. Just press Done. and Save the settings. (No username - No passowrd - No Primary DNS or Secondary)

7. Now exit back to the Main Menu and now go to Services.

8. Services - WAP - Settings - Select Sim (Select your sim number)

9. Services - WAP - Settings - Profiles - SIM 1 (if your sim1 is the aircel) Delete an unwanted profile.

10. Options - Add -

11. Profile Name : aircelgprs

12. Home page: http://www.google.com

13. Data account - aircelgprs (you have to select the data account which we created earlier)

14. Connection Type: HTTP ( Use Proxy - No)

15. No Username and Password

16. Done. Save it.

Completed. This will help you in accessing net through gprs in your Micromax Q5 mobile. If you still have issues please restart your mobile once.

Nokia E71 Personal Review

I have been using this Nokia E71 for the past 8 months and i would like to give my Review about this Smart phone.

This is my 54th mobile since 2001. I have handled all Brands of mobile phone.

I had an impression that Nokia is just user friendly Mobile but nothing more than that as a brand. These are the Disadvantages I experienced when i used Nokia mobiles.

1. Nokia phones will not give a good battery life compared to Sony Ericsson
2. Sofware issues
3. Randam Restart
4. Hardware issues
5. Quality of the plastics used are poor.

But after I started using this Phone (E71) I started thinking that all the above factors are wrong about Nokia.

I really love this phone (E71). It overcame all the disadvantages which i meantioned above. Its stylish metalic panel gives a richer look and thin width gives a feel of using a small mobile.

Advantages of E71 in my point of view

1. Full Qwerty Keyboard
2. Battery life. (2 days solid with high usage)
3. No much software issues (If you upgrade the mobile's Firmware to Version 3.00.21.012)
4. Easy Navigation of the features
5. Sound is good.

I Feel like this mobile will not only suit the business or corporate people but will also suit a common mobile user.
